DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the arrival of Spring (and Mother's Day!) with Mom and the whole family at our Annual Apple Blossom Festival on Saturday\, May 7th\, from 10am-4pm. We'll have live music\, apple blossom hayrides\, lawn games\, crafts\, a scavenger hunt with prizes for kids\, and very special Mother's Day Picnic baskets.\n\nGive Mom the perfect afternoon of a relaxing picnic on the farm. Bring a blanket and spread out on the grass and enjoy the sweet smells of spring with one of our carefully selected picnic baskets filled with local goodies. Pre-order your picnic basket on Eventbrite.com now!\n\nThere will be lots of fun for the whole family! Local favorites the SteppingSTONE band will be playing their upbeat mix of original rock\, bluegrass and folk from 12pm-3pm. We'll have hayrides running all day through our blooming orchards. Kids can hop off and participate in our nature trail scavenger hunt to win some special prizes\, then participate in an apple blossom painting craft and a seeding workshop. All materials will be supplied and participants will have beautiful artwork and a brand new pea plant to take home.\n\nThe grill will be open\, cooking up grass-fed burgers and no-nitrate hotdogs. We'll also have fresh donuts\, pies and more delicious treats available at the farm store.\nAdmission: $5 per person* collected at the door. LOCATION:9 Fishkill Farm Rd\, Hopewell Junction\, NY 12533 Our farm is located just off of I-84 in the town of East Fishkill\, New York. We are an hour and a half north of New York City\, and 20 minutes south of Poughkeepsie by car. Take I-84 West from the Taconic Parkway\, or East from Beacon/Newburgh\, to exit 15/Lime Kiln Road. Left off exit ramp onto Lime Kiln Road South. Proceed less than a mile to stop sign\, make a right onto East Hook Cross Road and our farm entrance is on the right less than a mile ahead.
