Gardley was awarded the Glickman award for his play The House That Will Not Stand\, which is now being adapted as a film by Lee Daniels. Gardley has also received the 2011 PEN Laura Pels award and was the 2013 USA James Baldwin Fellow. The talk will be followed by a question-and-answer-period.
