DESCRIPTION:The Cold Spring Area Chamber of Commerce and the Beacon Chamber of Commerce are hosting a joint mixer.  On Thursday\, October 26th\, they invite you to come meet your business neighbors at the Dutchess Manor (263 Route 9D\, Beacon) from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.  There will be a chance to talk to fellow "Main Street" business owners and brainstorm around how Cold Spring and Beacon can grow from day trip visits to weekend destinations.  Tickets are required for this event ($20 for members\, $30 for non-members).  Hors-d'oeuvres will be served and a cash bar will be available.  This is a fantastic opportunity to come together and help both Chambers grow!\n \n\n"Located only a few miles apart and linked by a trolley\, Beacon and Cold Spring have a common interest in attracting visitors and promoting tourism\," says Nat Prentice\, Board Member of the Cold Spring Area Chamber of Commerce. "Getting to know each other better will lead to an expansion of business for the merchants and restaurateurs of both towns."
