SUMMARY:Friends & Family CPR AED Course
DESCRIPTION:The Family & Friends CPR Course teaches the lifesaving skills of adult Hands-Only® CPR\, child CPR with breaths\, adult and child AED use\, infant CPR with breaths and relief of choking in an adult\, child or infant. Skills are taught in a dynamic group environment by using the AHA's research-proven practice-while-watching technique\, which provides students with the most hands-on CPR practice time possible.  Family & Friends CPR is for people who want to learn CPR but do not require a certification card in CPR for their job. This course is ideal for schools\, community groups\, new parents\, grandparents\, babysitters and others interested in learning how to save a life.  Pre-registration and payment are required by calling: (845) 475-9742. Course cost: $35.00 and includes the textbook and materials.  This course is NOT suitable for day care workers\, camp counselors\, students\, healthcare providers or any other community professions that requires a CPR certification.  We offer other courses at this level please call for details.  \n\nCourses held at Vassar Brothers Medical Center\, Joseph Tower Auditorium\, 45 Reade Pl\, Poughkeepsie\, NY from 10:00am – 2:00pm.
