DESCRIPTION:Hudson Valley Community Services (HVCS) announces the return of the Hairdressers' Disco Ball and Charity Hair Show to the Mid-Hudson Civic Center on Sunday\, August 23\, 2015 from 7:00 to 10:00 pm. The event raises much-needed funds for the non-profit's HIV/AIDS programs and services.\n\nThis year\, fourteen local salons will join together to produce a spectacular fantasy hair runway show inspired by Oscar-winning movies and unforgettable red carpet moments. Now in its fifth year\, the event features over-the-top costumes\, towering wigs\, and jaw-dropping theatrics\, all for a great cause. Tickets are just $30 and includes free entry to the after-party at Union Tavern. Tickets are available at participating salons\, online at www.hairdressersdiscoball.com\, or by texting "HDB" to 41-444.
