DESCRIPTION:Join us at James Baird State Park on Sunday\, October 4th\, rain or shine\, for our annual Miles of Hope Community Walk for Breast Cancer!\n\nOpening Ceremony at 9:30 AM\, Walk to begin at 10:00 AM.\n\nOut and back walk is approximately 3 miles (but you can always turn around at at any point).\n\nThis year we honor Dr. Lisa Curcio!\n2026 marks the 23rd year of the Miles of Hope Community Walk for Breast Cancer! This event has become a staple in the Hudson Valley calendar\, and we couldn't be more grateful for the support we receive each year!\n\nThere is nothing like being together to honor our friends\, our family and all those who have been affected by breast cancer and we look forward to continuing our tradition of walking together at James Baird Park. However\, you do not have to be present to participate\, you can walk wherever you may be and still support the event.\n\nTo date\, Miles of Hope has given away over $4 million dollars in over twenty years of funding programs to educate and support those affected by breast cancer within the nine counties of the Hudson Valley. Thanks to you\, tens of thousands of people who needed a helping hand while in treatment\, did not go without the care and support they required to get better.\n\nAs we all know\, an active healthy lifestyle is a great way to reduce your cancer risk. We challenge you to stay active and reduce your cancer risk by exercising every day\, walk in Honor or Memory of someone\, challenge yourself\, your family\, your friends to promote a lifetime of good health. \n\nThank you to everyone who supports us and for helping us reach our fundraising goal. \n\nTogether\, we all make a difference.
