DESCRIPTION:The Children's Home Social Network will host their first Run for Home\, a 5K to Benefit the Children's Home of Poughkeepsie on Sunday\, August 24\, 2014 at James Baird State Park.\n\nProceeds raised will help to provide increased recreational programming\, improved recreational facilities and opportunities for the children in our care to participate in activities that their peers enjoy. \n\n7:30 am – 9:00 am\, Race Day Registration\n9:15 am\, 1 mile Kids Run (12 and under)\n10:00 am\, 5K Run/Walk start (all ages)\nAwards ceremony immediately following race\n\nAge Group Awards! Water Stops! Vendors! Music! Refreshments! Face Painting!\n\nEntry Fees: 5k Run/Walk\, $25 ($35 on Race Day)\nKids Run – FREE if pre-registered ($10 on Race Day)\n\n Register at www.RunforHome.us\n\n Sponsorship Opportunities are available.
