DESCRIPTION:Ethan Allen Workforce Solutions' Terrence Wilson will provide essential and timely information about the New York State Health & Essential Rights (HERO) Act.\n\n\n\nIf you are a New York employer then you are quickly approaching the deadline to comply with the newly enacted infectious disease prevention requirements imposed by the State of New York.\n\n\n\nThe state's Health & Essential Rights Act is a new enforceable regulation\, known as the HERO Act\, and constructs safety and health standards aimed at mitigating COVID-19 and other infectious diseases in the workplace. Employers must produce and implement prevention plans and create safety committees. Here's some important information you should know:\n\n\n\n  Department of Labor (DOL) model standards: https://dol.ny.gov/ny-hero-act\n\n  Employers have 30 days to adopt the standards\; by August 5\, 2021.
