Right Cross Promotion proudly presents, the 1st Annual APJ Amateur Boxing Tournament, Saturday, July 19th at Stitzel Field in Poughkeepsie NY. The purpose of this event is to rejuvenate Amateur Boxing back into the Hudson Valley by supporting the city of Poughkeepsie's only boxing program, APJ Boxing Club, which is located at 2 Catharine Street, Poughkeepsie NY.  All proceeds from the show, as well as any donations, will go towards the youth boxing program needs, such as furnishing added equipment, as well as the purchase of a 12-15 Passenger Van, which will allow our kids from Dutchess County, to be able to travel to different tournaments, appreciating the value of   experiencing various cultures throughout the Tri- State area. Amateur Boxing will allow them to compete as well on a national level, representing the United States, with aspirations of some day being able to represent our country in the Olympics. Our mission is to help these inner city kids by broadening their horizons through healthy competition and sportsmanship.
