Friends' Book Store is located at the Boardman Road Branch Library, 141 Boardman Road, Town of Poughkeepsie. Book Store is located behind the Branch Library on the south side of the building. Look for the door with the Blue Awning.
From Route 9, take exit for Spackenkill Road; Make left hand turn onto Boardman Road.
Description
Children ages 4-10 are encouraged to make an Anniversary Card for the Friends of the Poughkeepsie Public Library District which is celebrating its 40th Anniversary. Cards (no larger than 8 1/2" by 11") should be created by hand and at home under adult supervision. Cards to be brought to Friends' Book Store, 141 Boardman Road, Poughkeepsie on 4/9, 4/12, 4/14 or 4/16 from 10 am to 4 pm. Cards will be displayed at Book Store and each child who makes a card will receive a Free Children's Book from the Book Store.
