Celebrate Easter on the farm Sunday, April 9th 2017 at our annual Egg-Stravaganza and Orchard Egg Hunt. Enjoy a day on the farm with the whole family visiting with the Easter Bunny, hunting for eggs amongst the apple trees, planting sunflowers, and taking hayrides through the orchard. Our grill will be serving up grass-fed burgers hot dogs and veggies burgers and as always, we'll have our delicious cinnamon sugar donuts for sale. We've sold out online in the past two years! We've opened up more spaces this year but do not hesitate to reserve your child's space in the egg hunt. Purchasing a ticket online guarantees your child’s spot in the selected time slot for the egg hunt and includes the activities listed below. Easter Celebration Activities Orchard Egg Hunt Hunt for eggs hidden amongst the apple trees in the orchard. Each participant in the egg hunt will receive a ticket and an egg carton to collect 12 eggs. Hand in a carton of Easter eggs to receive a goodie bag filled with candy and fun easter prizes. Keep your eyes peeled for golden eggs. Turn them in for an extra special prize! We will take all egg hunters and their families down to the orchard on a hayride. We’ve designed the egg hunt so that you can enjoy it at your own pace and to ensure that each egg hunter will have the opportunity to find 12 eggs. Easter Bunny Visit with the Easter Bunny at the “Rabbit Den”. Be sure to bring your cameras to capture memories of your family with the Easter Bunny. Don’t forget to visit with our two rams, Fordham and Oreo, and our fluffy bunnies too! Hayride Take a tour through the orchard and see the pre-spring farm with pruned trees and fallow fields ready to spring to life. Spring Seeding Workshop Join us in the barn for a Spring Seeding Workshop. We’ll be planting sunflower seeds and decorating planter markers. We will also have face painting available for added easter fun! Nature Trail Take a scenic hayride through the farm and stop for a nature walk filled with fun facts about the farm and surrounding lands. Follow the facts along the trail and track your progress with different stamps collected along the way. Collect all of the stamps to receive a prize at the spring seeding workshop! This is an activity for the whole family so bring your binoculars to spot wildlife along the way. Admission: $15 per person ages 2 years-12 years. Adults are free! Rain Date: Saturday, April 15th
