Description
Leading immigration law scholar Peter Markowitz will deliver the “Protecting Immigrant Communities in the Age of Trump” lecture on February 13 at 7:00pm in Rockefeller Hall, room 300, at Vassar College. The lecture will explore the changes to immigration policy that President Trump and his appointees have supported and the means of resistance that immigrant communities and local and state governments could employ in response. Markowitz is a law professor at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and the Founder and Director of the Kathryn O. Greenberg Immigration Justice Clinic. This event is free and open to the public.
