During the month of April, The Gallery at the Millbrook Library will be exhibiting the paintings of Ralph Della-Volpe. Born in 1923, Mr. Della-Volpe is an American Contemporary painter who studied fine art at The National Academy of Design and the Art Students League in New York City. His work has been exhibited in numerous shows around the country from local venues like the Holbrook Gallery at the Millbrook School to galleries in Pennsylvania, New York City (including a show at the Grand Central Galleries), and the Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington DC. His work was also exhibited in a group show at the 1964 World's Fair's House of Good Taste, and was a finalist in an exhibition at the National Institute of Arts and Letters in 1963 and 1964. Mr. Della -Volpe's work is currently represented in the collections of the Library of Congress, U.S Treasury Building in Washington DC, and the Arts Student's League in New York City.
