Description
Take your portfolio and your future to the next level! This 8-week drawing and painting class is designed with college-bound artists in mind and focuses on creating compelling portfolio pieces that showcase both technical skill and artistic voice. Learn to use reference images effectively, create unique and engaging contemporary compositions, and refine crucial drawing and painting techniques that college representatives seek. By the end of the course, you’ll have 5–6 portfolio-ready works that demonstrate your artistic voice, technical ability, and professional potential. A sketchbook is required.
This is not an introductory course. A strong understanding of foundational drawing and painting concepts is required. This class prepares students for advanced classes, including Senior Project, live model courses, and college applications.
