Thrivent Fincancial is a not for profit financial services company that has supported local churches and charities financially as well as through educational programs to help people be wise with money and live generously. This workshop covers the basics of Social Security and reveals strategies for maximizing your benefits, including: Five factors to consider in deciding when to apply for benefits, how to minimize taxes on Social Security benefits, and how to coordinate Social Security with your other sources of retirement income. It is appropriate for those individuals who have not started collecting benefits.
