Albany, NY, Latham, NY, and Staatsburg, NY….. Anderson Center for Autism today announced details of its Fourth Annual Resources for Autism & IDD Information Sharing EXPO, also known as RAIISE, which is expected to attract hundreds of people seeking to explore the available services and resources for those with autism and other intellectual/developmental disabilities in the Capital Region.
Scheduled for Friday, October 24, 2025 from 5-8pm, the event will feature educational presentations, self-guided walks through exhibitor booths, and Anderson Early Learning Academy (AELA)’s Trunk or Treat (which will run from 5-7pm that evening).
RAIISE will take place at The Anderson Center Clinic and Anderson Early Learning Academy, located at 7 Century Hill Drive in Latham, NY.
Said Patrick Paul, CEO/Executive Director of Anderson Center for Autism: “RAIISE gives families and caregivers a convenient, time-efficient, and meaningful way to discover comprehensive offerings that can help optimize the quality of life for their loved ones, saving them countless hours of research time by providing them a chance to meet various professionals in one room at the same time. It will be our great honor to host event guests, RAIISE sponsors, and all of the booth exhibitors for this highly anticipated experience, which grows in popularity every year.”
In addition to describing its ‘trade show’ format, Paul said that RAIISE will also feature “presentations and breakout sessions which allow for a ‘deeper dive’ on a variety of topics relevant to this population.”
Noted Dr. Tina Marie Covington, Chief Operating Officer at Anderson Center for Autism, “While most of the presentation and breakout session facilitators and topics have not yet been announced, we are very pleased to share that Director of Program Services at Anderson Center Consulting and Training (ACCT), Kathleen Marshall, will be among those speaking. She will discuss how we can work to build a more inclusive world through the autism supportive training programs that ACCT offers to schools, first responders, healthcare organizations, businesses, organizations, families and caregivers. Her talk is designed to help attendees better understand what goes into these training programs, what the results have been, and how all of us can help promote a spirit of greater acceptance among our own communities, workplaces, and more.”
Eliza Bozenski, Chief Development Officer at Anderson Foundation for Autism, reflected: “A walk through the RAIISE event is a reminder that we are all in this together – and that nobody needs to go through the journey alone. There are so many professionals who can help navigate whatever challenges arise, and make possible the positive outcomes that every family wants for their autistic or neurodivergent loved one.”
And this year, Bozenski shared, “Those who join us will also get to meet other families, enjoying an added sense of community at Anderson Early Learning Academy’s Trunk or Treat – a fun event for the whole family which will take place in tandem with the event, but from 5-7pm while RAIISE itself runs until 8pm.”
According to Bozenski, RAIISE event sponsorships are now available, along with exhibitor booth space. She emphasized that the event “offers a very unique branding opportunity – along with the chance to meet some of the growing number of people impacted by autism and other neurodiversities. Most who have participated in the past return each year, and bring new people and businesses into the mix; we believe that the momentum for this event will continue to grow, making it a win for everyone involved.”
To date, some of the organizations who have confirmed participation include Anderson Center for Autism, The Anderson Center Clinic, Maria College, Blue Path Service Dogs, Autism Society Greater Hudson Region, and National Alliance on Mental Illness.
