Poughkeepsie Day School has officially opened the 2026–27 school year at Kenyon House, its new home at 260 Boardman Road in Poughkeepsie.
The move brings the school’s PreK through Grade 8 community together in the historic building following an extensive renovation completed over the summer. The renewed campus includes updated classrooms and learning spaces, a new playground, teaching kitchen, Middle School Research Center, and expanded opportunities for outdoor and experiential learning.
The move marks an important new chapter for Poughkeepsie Day School, a progressive independent school serving the Hudson Valley since 1934 and currently an International Baccalaureate candidate school.
PDS celebrated the opening of Kenyon House with students and families in September and looks forward to welcoming the wider community to its new home.
