Location
The parade will kick off at 6:30pm on Main Street and Garden Street with the tree lighting occurring on Main, near Market St.
The Parade will proceed to Dongan Square Park for the second tree lighting and the count down to the anticipated Fireworks display.
Fees/Admission
We're asking everyone to please bring non-perishable food to support FoodStock 10! Donations will benefit the Food Bank of the Hudson Valley and can be dropped off at the Food Tent next to the Christmas Tree.
It's time to give! From now until the event, please drop off toys to any of the six restaurants that make up the Poughkeepsie River District. You can also bring your donated toys to the event and put them under the Christmas Tree. This toy drive will benefit the under privileged children of Poughkeepsie!
Description
The Poughkeepsie River District Association, in conjunction with the City of Poughkeepsie, First Friday Poughkeepsie, Bardavon and The Walkway over the Hudson, will present the 24th annual Celebration of Lights Parade and Fireworks on Friday, December 1, 2017!

About The Poughkeepsie River District Association The Poughkeepsie River District Association formed in July 1997 to help unify and strengthen the business environment within the waterfront area in the City of Poughkeepsie. We refer to this area as the River District area of Poughkeepsie, which is defined as the area between the Mid-Hudson Bridge and the Walkway Over the Hudson, extending eastward to Vassar Street.
