Description
Immerse yourself in the fantastical world of Randy Orzano’s artwork. His exquisite work explores the intersection and collaboration with one of the most humble creatures that surround us - bees. As part of his process, Randy cuts and folds his ink and watercolor paintings and lays them in the beehives. Bees use their imagination and intuition as they make marks on the canvas or paper using wax or propolis. Sometimes, they remove sections of paper, piece by piece, with their mandibles. Mandibles are a pair of appendages near the mouth used to tear, crush, or carry; They are also used to defend against predators. Gallery hours: Friday 2:00PM to 6:00PM, Saturday 12:00PM to 6:00PM, and by appointment.
