Description
Hudson Valley Community Services (HVCS) announces the return of the Hairdressers' Disco Ball and Charity Hair Show to the Mid-Hudson Civic Center on Sunday, August 23, 2015 from 7:00 to 10:00 pm. The event raises much-needed funds for the non-profit's HIV/AIDS programs and services. This year, fourteen local salons will join together to produce a spectacular fantasy hair runway show inspired by Oscar-winning movies and unforgettable red carpet moments. Now in its fifth year, the event features over-the-top costumes, towering wigs, and jaw-dropping theatrics, all for a great cause. Tickets are just $30 and includes free entry to the after-party at Union Tavern. Tickets are available at participating salons, online at www.hairdressersdiscoball.com, or by texting "HDB" to 41-444.
