9-12 Vassar Street, City of Poughkeepsie. The Arts Center, housed in two 19th Century buildings, is a not-for-profit organization which promotes education..in science, literature and art through a variety of cultural and civic activities. The buildings were created through the vision and generosity of the npehews of Matthew Vassar, and operate under the auspices of the Cunneen-Hackett Charitable Trust. Both buildings have been on the National Register of Historic Places since 1972.
Description
Outdoor (tent) festival featuring tastings presented by local Hudson Valley craft brewers. Tastings, food and music. The brewfest will recognize the contributions of Matthew Vassar, local brewer and founder of Vassar College.
