To Kashura with Love Benefit Dinner Pastor Ward and Deacon Rich of St. John's Lutheran church will be traveling to Bukoba, Tanzania with a group from the Metropolitan NY Synod in October. St. John's has established a relationship with Kashura Lutheran Parish in Bukoba for the past 3 years, and this trip will allow them to visit multiple ministry sites, the educational school of Diocese, Kibeta Englism Medium, Primary School (KEMPS), and attend the installation of a newly-elected bishop of the NW Diocese. To help defray the cost of $3,200 per person to make this important synodical trip, connecting congregations with one another, a special Benefit Dinner will take place on Saturday August 29 at 6pm in the St. John's Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall. It will be hosted with the support of the Congregation-to-Congregation Committee that sustains this vital relationship between Kashura Parish and St. John's. A free-will offering will be received during dinner and entertainment will be provided by the Saints and Sinners Band from 7:00-8:00PM.
